Avg. day at work so far, closed the work site to have a retirement party for a co-worker (for 1 1/2 hours. That was fun, had cake and goodies. When I get home will need to do housework and listen to the teenager vent about his day...:tounge2: :tounge2: Usually he has a good day...BUT some day's stories can be quite interesting
:paranoid2 :confused2
So that means that I may have to come here to vent myself on occasion

Everone have a good rest of the day and evening

Okay, so it's the middle of the week. It's too hot here.

I've got to wander on over to the video store and return a couple of films Three-Legged Kat asked me to screen. They were both interesting movies; and I really liked one of them.

Samantha, my computer system, seems to be working all right again. She suffered from heat prostration for the past 36 hours or so.

I'm in mourning, because Buffy Anne Summers is dead. That's right, she's been killed in the season finale of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Well, that favorite television program of mine will now move from "The WB" to "UPN" for next season. So, hope springs eternal that The Buffinator can be somehow resurrected.

I'm about finished with Helter Skelter. There's a huge contradiction in that whole scenario from 30 years ago, but I'll not bore you with a long story!

=^..^=

Hi everybody!!

Airprincess, it's a really nice feeling to log on and have somebody ask about you. Thanks.

Today I turned in my keys to the old apt. It's officially over now. The repair man came and fixed the water heater this afternoon. The heating element in the lower section of the tank was bad. Thank goodness for home warranty!

I gave my truck a much needed bath, especially down here iin Florida, where it's love bug season. For those of you unaware, thery are these pesky little bugs that swarm every May and September. You mostly see a male and a female flying around hooked together. They only live 24 hours and spent the whole time creating the next generation. They are most annoying because they get smashed onto your car. If you don't wash them off, they eat off the paint.

I also did some reading for my class tomorrow night. I didn't quite get to finishing my report cards. This incredibly busy time is coming to an end. Hallelujah! I'll be able to spend a little more time here.

Love these new little smilies, but it makes posting take a lot more time. So many choices!

Well I was sick yesterday and most of today. Darn sinuses! I've been sick a lot this year. But the weather DID change from the 90's to the 100's so that may be why I got my sunus problems again.

Anyway enough about that. Yesterday an appraiser came at 8 AM and a wood-and-termite inspector came in the afternoon. Good news-no termites. Bad news, there is a lot of wood on the outside of the house and underneath that needs to be replaced before my parents can buy this place. If the current owner doesn't want to fix it or wants to jack up the price after it's fixed then we'll have to find a new place to live. That will also be the case if the house appraises lower than $90K, which is what they were going to buy it for. I'd rather move into a brand new house, but moving is going to be a real pain in the butt, especially now that the weather is 105 and rising. Not that we could find a house to buy within 30 days anyway. The main reason that we were going to buy this place is because we already live here and the owner gave us 30 days to get out when we hadn't found a new house, so we were kind of stuck since they hadn't found a house yet, new houses take 3 months to build, and they were waiting on medical records so they could get a better rate on a loan ( :witch: <---picture of the current owner) .

On a happier note: my sister got more pics of her kitten today. I'll post them in the at picture thread.
