I have two cats that get a long really really well ( one male and one female). Today we bathed the male and the female was in the bathroom at the same time. He really didn't enjoy the bath and kinds freaked out. Well ever since the female cat chloe has been hissing and even clawed at him once when he tried to lay by her. THis is extremely out of character for her. I was wondering if it had something to do with his scent? We are not home during the day and are worried about this new fighting. Does anyone know what could have happened??? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

yeah, you washed off his 'pride smell'.
like pack smell w/cats! try putting a little pure vanilla extract at the base of their tails to make them smell alike.

Makes sense. I figured it had something to do with him not smelling like an old shoe anymore
Hopefully they will go back to their loving selves now! I don't like all this hissing! Thanks for your help!
thought of something else - rub her all over w/a towel, then rub him w/the same towel.
