Dang It, Lola!

Looks like Lola wants to go back to the vet to get her nails trimmed. She used my leg as a launching pad, and her claws ripped into me something fierce! I just tried to clip them, and she went berserk on me again. All I have to do is touch her paws, and she becomes completely irrational. Any suggestions? I've tried the "one paw at a time, while she's sleeping" routine...she had that one figured out in a heartbeat! I tried the KLAW KONTROL BAG again....>snerk< what a joke that is! She won't sit still long enough to zip her up into it. I guess I'll give them a call tomorrow, and see when I can get her in.

Have you tried having someone else hold her while you clip their claws, or vice versa? You'd need someone who wasn't too skittish themselves. Maybe just a couple claws at a time, then a favorite treat?

Some cats just aren't going to like it no matter what, but you can try making it a positive experience for her before having to go to the vet every time.
