Jin, I'm so sorry. My collie is limping somewhat now, and I know I won't have him many more years. There's no way to be prepared for such a loss. But I'm glad you are taking joy in knowing that he is young and healthy again. Bless your heart. I know how hard it is to lose such a beloved pet.

Jin, this is really sad, I'm so sorry about your loss of Billie. I can tell that she really meant a lot to you, and someday you will see her again.

Thank you, everyone. We're all coping day by day. Poor Spawn had a rough day Sunday - looking all over for Billie, checking the back door constantly... she finally gave up and went and laid down on Billie's bed. I wish I could explain it to her, but all she understands right now is that her dog isn't here and she wants her back. I'm sure it just takes time for her too.
