Lately skye has been getting into the bedroom window and going crazy causing the blind to slap together like crazy at all hours. Last night it was an all night battle with her. We have curtains over the window which seemed to deter her for a while till she realized she could either climb onto her litter box then into the window or just that she can part them and get in that way. So I tried using some ordinary push pins she figured out how to pull them out with her mouth. I'm wondering if there are any other suggestions for keeping her out of the window and me to get a good nights sleep?

We live in an apartment so I need to do something creative yet not that drastic. If it were my house then I'd be replacing it all.

Are you allowed to put blinds up, and when/if you move out just put the originals out again?

I assume you're talking about the horizontal blinds? I never had any luck keeping cats out of them, no matter what I tried.

Now I have vertical blinds and curtains which are so far still fine as they can go behind the curtains and slip in between the verticals.

Why not just pull the blinds up? You have curtains already; so nobody can see in anyway.

They are the vertical blinds. So she gets in between them and smacks them so they slap together back and forth.

Ya the reason I don't want her in the window is because our bedroom window is in the front of our apartment and they don't know we have her. So her sitting in the window in clear view of management is kinda a dead giveaway.

Cover the window with reflective window-covers, the kind that is meant to keep sun out and make air conditioning more efficient.

Punkin never bothered the blinds. But Sterling just had to see through them wherever he could reach. We have all the blinds in the house open about a foot; it was the only way we could save them.

that's a difficult one then. i know you can get a stick on frosting to go on the glass to give privacy. would that be an option? either that or putting something on the ledge to put her off going up there. apparently cats hate tin foil, could work.
