Hi my names becky and i went to pick out a kitten from a farm last week.
I fell in love with a ginger and white tom cat, he is only 6 week old and was waiting for him to be old enough to take home.

I went up to have a check up tonight and have found out something very sad. A friends dog got out of there car and attacked the group of kittens, they all got away safley... apart from one.
The ginger and white kitten was found hung a while later. He was alive but very ill.

Tonight he was walking around, crying, feeding and washing himself.. but he seems to be blind. Although the farmer tells me his pupils seem to have dialated since yesterday.

Does anyone out there know of anthing like this happening and could it possiably be temporary blindness?

Thank you for listening to his story,
Any advise will help, Becky. x

Get the kitten to a vet ASAP, like NOW!!!
Could be any number of things with a severe injury, but the kitten needs imediate help. Dialated pupils are not a good sign.
Good luck and to the poor baby.

The pupils like that in a human = brain trama.
In a 6week old kitten, most likely the same.
You need to see a vet now, proly not much to do but put down. Poor baby.

Please come back here no matter what the outcome of this may be. You did nothing wrong, remember that, it was just something bad that happend.
If it is brain damage, don't be mad at yourself if the kitty needs to be put down.
Im crying for you as I type.
Here are some more for you and the baby.

Hi just to let everyone know...
sadly the kitten passed away one night in its sleep, which is probably best if it was in so much pain. i did however decide to take home its brother,
