Wow, it's been awhile since I've been here

Okay, so we started buying Fromm a couple weeks ago after Jerry had to have one of his fangs removed (he had a nasty abscess
). The pieces are smaller so they were easier for him to eat and he seems to have gained back the weight he lost during his infection. Both of our cats love it, but we can only get it from our vet and it's $20 for a pretty small bag

To my point: Is Fromm one of those "luxury gourmet" cat foods that isn't really necessary or is it actually a legitimate source of nutrition for my kitties?

Thanks.

It will depend on what your kitty does best on.

I paid a small fortune for Fromms for quite some time for my kitties. They flourished on it. It was well worth the money for me.

That said, I have 2 toothless kitties who have eaten MAX cat dry (cat face shaped) kibble, Nutro kibble, Fromms, etc. They can pretty much eat anything, despite lacking teeth.

I really liked Fromm for both my cat and dog. It made their coats glow and silky smooth. The only reason why I've stopped using it is because I've switched them both over to a grain-free diet. I know Fromm came out with some grain-free formulas recently though, but I've yet to try them.
