On work days, it's pretty hit and miss. As others have said, I am really not that interested in food until I've been up and moving around for a couple of hours, or until mid-morning. Not interested in cold cereal, thanks. None of it turns my crank. Hot oatmeal is a pleasant change, but I don't remember the last time I actually had it. Our coffee shop has the most awesome cinnamon buns, and sometimes I'll have one of them, or I might nuke some bacon and put it in a bun.

My preferred breakfast is eggs and bacon in some configuration, and on weekends that's what we have -- either scramblies and bacon and some interesting toast or fresh baked scones, or a big English fry-up (known in our house as "Dirty Eggs"), or French Toast with bacon and fruit, or waffles with bacon and fruit, or any of a number of combinations of things piled on a toasted English muffin...you get the picture.

I'm probably not going to be much help. I am HUNGRY when I wake up in the am. I usually have about a half-cup of eggbeaters/eggwhites that I season up with onion powder, pepper and thyme.. and a tablespoon of parmesan cheese, whole wheat toast and coffee.

I cook more fancy on the weekends.. sometimes canadian bacon or chicken sausage or buckwheat pancakes. BTW - whole grain pancakes of some sort freeze really well and you can nuke them in the micro for a quick and tasty brekkie!

It varies. Sometimes I dont even eat breakfast at all. Some days, if there is any, I'll have some cereal. Other times I'll get a bagel if we have any. Or I'll make some toast.

Now I'm hungry

Lately, it's been a bowl of cereal and a glass of water in the morning on weekdays. Sometimes, instead of cereal, I make two pieces of toast w/ butter, oatmeal, or waffles. On the weekends, I have eggs or pancakes usually.

I usually eat cereal and a piece of fruit. or a muffin and a piece of fruit depending on my mood.
oh and I only drink soda or water in the morning since my stomach can't handle juice early the morning.

My large mug of black tea with milk! I don't function with out tea!

Depends what i have in the house and on my mood, there were times where it was just toasted cheese sandwiches, then it was toast with hazelnut spread, then its crackers with cheese, bananas and yoghurt, cereal with bananas.

The days that i have doughnuts or really sugary breakfast's really make me queezi and disgusting through out the day.

On the weekends i will usually make an English fry up! My FH loves my scrambelled eggs!

I don't eat breakfast usually. Well, I usually eat about 10-11 a.m. and it's usually something like instant mac and cheese. Then I eat a little bit in the evening.

Oh and sometimes for breakfast I will eat those Nature Valley Oats & Honey granola bars. I LOVE them.
and sometimes a nutri-grain bar but they aren't that great IMO so I usually go with the granola bars! Sometimes I will buy pop tarts.. s'mores yummy! but so not healthy so I'll have a bowl of cereal with that.
Waffles are good too drenched in syrup!

i won't be of any help! during the school year, i eat on the way to work. since my surgery, i have 3 peanut butter sandwich crackers. they come in packages of 6, so one package covers every 2 days.
during summer - sometimes cereal [w/o milk], sometimes a flax muffin - just kinda depends. today, i had peanut butter crackers, because i had blood drawn & had to fast - so i ate afterwards, on my way to home depot.

It depends.

Sometimes I'll have 1 slice of toast, with 1 slice of no fat cheese, and 1/2 cup fruit cocktail, 1 cup of milk and a cup of coffee

Other times I'l just have a chocolate Slimfast Shake the way I make them (1 1/2 cup skim milk, 2 heaping teaspoons instant coffee, 1 heaping teaspoon orange metamucil, 1/2 cup frozen berries or a fresh banana, 2 heaping tablespoons Splenda, 1 1/4 scoop chocolate Slimfast, 1 tray of ice cubes. Maybe 1/2 cup of water to thin it out.

Other times I'll have oatmeal with frozen berries cooked in it, topped with splenda and milk. I usually have this if I'm going to the gym. It's fast and easy to make, and it gives me extra energy to work out.

I never have a slimfast shake for breakfast on gym days because I get too hungry by mid morning to the point i'm going to pass out. I guess I burn off the calories/nutrients.

Food is top on the list in the AM for me, 20 oz. coffee, and today was 2 warm choco. poptarts. Most of the time it's fruit w/bread something. OR my bar w/ yogurt. I love greek style yogurt.
Enjoy!

I eat one of these things:
.An apple and banana, tea (never any sugar or milk in teas)
.Whole grain cereals like granolas with skim milk with a frozen mug small glass of OJ
.Eggs and whole wheat toast, frozen mug glass of OJ
.Freshly made fruit smoothie in frozen mug, strawberries, bananas, OJ, yogurt, and mango or kiwi
.Homemade whole wheat or buckwheat real blueberry pancakes, real pure syrup (not corn syrup stuff) no butter, frozen mug OJ. these taste great even cold in the am if leftover
.Homemade whole wheat real blueberry low fat waffles, real pure syrup, no butter, frozen mug OJ. these you can freeze in the freezer and reheat in the toaster oven for a quick bite to eat.
.Whole wheat bagel, toasted with lox and cream cheese, and the OJ
.Homemade low fat bisquick biscuits and lots of pepper low fat gravy, and the frozen mug OJ
.Sometimes I make omelettes for my family, these are super easy and fast to make, I throw in mushrooms, green onion, onions, bell peppers, pepper, and a bit of cheese
This is basically all I eat for breakfast. I never go out to eat for breakfast and in the rare occassions that I do I don't find anything I like to eat for breakfast as I am super picky about even OJ, well, except the occassional sinful cinnamon roll!
I would rather just make breakfast myself and save going out to eat for lunch or dinner.

Most of the time cereal with vanilla soy milk. When granola bars are on sale I grab a few boxes to alternate for breakfast. Cereal and granola bars are always available in the house so I never have excuse to not eat breakfast
.

My friend did a promo on Dannon yogurts & left with tons of them. She gave me 5 4-pack light & fit yogurt smoothies. They taste so good I'm thinking about making my own smoothies in the morning.

Once in a while when DH is up early enough then we'll go out for breakfast or dim sum!

This thread is making me hungry!
