I think early labour has started!

I was just petting Sienna's belly and noticed quite a bit more brownish discharge and then the whole area contracted. The upper belly was not contracting, but closer to her vagina was. Does this sound like early labour? Back to give her pets and check on her! Wish us luck!

Well she just had two! How do I tell if she's done? She's nursing and purring and kinda sleeping a bit, but it feels like there may be one or two more inside her? The first two were 30 mins apart, it's been one hour since the second birth, any ideas? Is she done? They are so cute, I will post pics soon!

OHHHHHHHH I can't wait for pictures. I thought my girl was done and she surprised me an hour later with another one.

OMG i soo wish i could tell you...i have nooo idea and am soon to be going thru the same thing!! But im sure if you can feel more, there is more and just give her time as long as she does not seem to be in distress im sure she'll finish when she's ready

Give her more time. Coco had 3 between 2am and 6am and we thought she was done. Then 2 dead male Calicos came after 9 Pm. Your Cat might be done. My Meeko just had 1 and we thought there was another in her and took her to the vet and it was al constipation. I would love to see Pics. Isnt your Cat the Meeko look alike.

Well I think she might be done, it's been just over two hours and nothing. As requested, here are some pics!

Wow what beautiful babies! The orange one looks so big! Wow, you're so fortunate to have them here safe and healthy. I'm awaiting my litter from Lily very soon and I'm so anxious!

The ginger was 5g (after nursing a little bit) and the tabby was 4.2g at birth and 4.5g after nursing a bit. The black tabby looks like she has a unique sort of pattern, I can't wait until they start growing up a little bit!

Wait that seems really light, it must have been ounces... How much are they supposed to weigh?

I bet the ginger is a Male.

Ya I've been calling the ginger he and the tabby she, even though I haven't sexed them yet! 1 in 4 gingers are male though.

Meekos only Kitten was a Ginger Bow with with white paws and chest.

That's interesting because I noticed with Sienna (and Meeko too from the pics) that parts of her look orangey, yet I understand her brown is a dilute form of black. Is it possible to have black and orange genes? Do you know what the father of Meeko's kitten looked like?

Meekos father was a Orange Tabby and so was Yoshis Dad. It is funny our Cats look alot alike and both had a Ginger Kitten.
