Orbax antibiotic question

Hello

I was given Orbax 22.7mg (green pill) for my cat to give her once a day. My vet said it was ok to dissolve it in water and then put it in her food. So far it is working out great. The problem is that when I looked Orbax up online I read more than once that it is supposed to be given on an empty stomach and not with food! I called my vet back , but she said it was fine and that I could continue what I was doing.

Has anyone else given Orbax with food or were you told the opposite??

Any help is appreciated, thank you.

I gave it to Coco with food when she had it for a Uri and Infection. it worked good. i just gave a little food though.

Did they tell you only to give it with a little bit of food or is that just what you did??

They said it was ok to give her some food just not alot. What happens is the Orbax works better when a pet has not eaten. It worked good with Coco with the little food she had with it.
