Gary likes to eat hair, mostly while we are laying down, half asleep, he will start eating. I discourage him, but he still likes to. Why does he do this, and how can I make him stop?

I am assuming you mean human hair as opposed to cat hair.

I dealt with this when we first got our kitten and he was sleeping on our pillows at night. I slept with a bandana on my head for 8 weeks and now he doesn't bother my hair.

It's not really healthy for him to eat hair--just like when cats get hair balls with their own hair.

yes, it is human hair. mine and my daughter's. I've asked this question before, and people told me it was normal. He hasn't always done it, he's probably started in the last six months or so. He also tries to eat dental floss, and any other stringy items, but mainly it is hair. Is there some vitamin he could be missing?

tiger likes to attack my hair and chew on it and I pull it away from him since i'm worried that it might hurt him in some way.
