Two people (at different times, and donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t know each other) who donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t know much about cats but know enough to know what a Turkish Angora is has told me that Bugsy may have some in him. Anyone know anything about this breed at all? What traits my baby needs to have to be a Turkish Angora? I am not sure I see the resemblance… maybe a little bit. Anyway it got my curious. If anyone knows anything on this breed I can take pictures, just need to tell me what to take pictures of.

PS Thats mah baby!! Lol.

Your baby is beautiful
. He reminds me of our old TA mix, Bobo, who passed away in March
. I'd say your kitties tail, ears, and facial shape fit the breed profile pretty closely. They are usually pretty fine boned cats but it's hard to tell if he's stocky or just full of fur! I'd check out a google search for the breed also.

I think Bugsy is an absolute doll
As a TA owner, i could be wrong, but i honestly don't see a lot of the features of a Turkish Angora in him in the face or bone structure. He sure is a handsome little guy though! My guess would be a very gorgeous domestic long hair.

(if you want to compare him just for reference, my isabella's a white odd-eyed TA - her picture is in the little box by my profile)

In order to be a TA, your cat needs to have pedigree papers saying that's what he is

I don't think he looks like a Turkish Angora, just a domestic long hair, and a gorgeous one at that

Ya, it really doesnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t matter what he is, all in all he is my little baby. I was just curious to know since I want to know everything about him. What you are seeing is Fur. He is actually a pretty skinny cat. I should take a better picture of his face. He is fine boned but maybe in a different way. He has high cheekbones and his face goes out sort of like a rat. Like a triangle face going out… if that makes sense. The second picture somewhat shows it, but it seems more rat like (I hate using that word but it explains it perfectly) in real life.

Thanks all, he is a great cat =) total cuddle monster.

I actually think that there may be some TA in him - only because the pointing up straight ears say so! The head shape helps in the cause as well!

(Note: please do not get upset, just IMO, but he looks like he needs a bath in the pics...his coat looks a tad greasy to me!)

Lol, Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]m not offended. He just got over a huge few month long sickness. We still donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t even know what it was/is! We are just hoping it wont come back. He just started gaining weight last month after going down to 6 lbâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s. Heâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s going to be greasy a little while longer LOL. He has URI and heâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s very sensitive, anything even a tab bit stressful brings it on. Since we got a dog a week and half ago I am not even chancing bathing him to add that stress. So he will be my dirty little boy for a bit longer lol.

He's a gorgeous white 'silky haired'.
probably not angora, but definitely silky.

Compare to my Marsh, who's a silky, all white, with yellow eyes, a copy of yours!
