My kitties have always been indoors but recently we bought a wonderful house with a big second story deck that they LOVE to go out on. Well, the mischevious little furballs like to chase wasps and bees! I am terrified that they'll catch one and get stung. Can this hurt them really bad? What can I do to stop this from happening?

It can really hurt them, i.e., kill them, if they are allergic to bee or wasp stings. If you notice any swelling of the face and/or neck, respiratory problems, or high temperature, it is an emergency and the cat should be taken to the vet's immediately. We had this problem with a dog. Otherwise, I doubt you can prevent it, but after a cat has been stung once or twice it learns to avoid bees and wasps.
