So I went to Minnesota last week on vacation and bought this SUPER CUTE white 9-week-old kitten with one blue and one green eye. I had to leave him there with some family but i was wondering what does it mean when they have one blue and one green eye??

He also had a lot of gunk coming out of each eye. What did that mean??

Just curious.

Thanks!

The different colored eyes is just a trait... some people have two differnt colored eyes.

The gunk coming out of his eyes is not related to their color, it is most likely a URI, an Upper Respritory Infection.... he will need to go to the vet-they will give you some antibiotics.

The eye goop is an infection of somekind. He needs to go to the vet soon.

Curious - where did you find this kitten? You might want to notify where ever he came from of what the vet determines he has, as if it is a URI most likely many other cats from the same place have it.

OK, so a general vet exam & thorough check-up would be in order. Is he around any other cats/kittens in the home where he is? If so, he could spread whatever he has to them.

FYI- white cats who have 2 different colored eyes can sometimes be deaf on the "blue eyed ear" side. Not always, I've only seen it in 1 bi-colored eyed white cat in 6 years, but it can happen.

Haha.....ok, here's what happened.

So about a week ago I went on vacation to Minnesota which is 15 hours away....i live in Ohio.

We went to this flee market and my mom said I couldnt get anything alive but I fell in love with this white 9-week-old pure white male kitten with one blue and one green eye. I named him Otie....and I had to hide him in our room we were staying in...

But eventually she found out and got all mad && made me leave him in Minnesota. I was devistated

Sooooo he is an inside cat of my cousin's...and he has this gunk coming out of his eyes and so I called them and told them they should bring him to the vet (like you guys said)

He has an appointment set for tomorrow...so I think hell be just fine

lol
