Lego Candy

Who came up with this bright idea? Aren't caretakers always telling kids to get the Legos out of their mouths?

That type of candy has been around for quite some time - and it's disgusting. Completely and utterly gross tasting.

You speak from experience?

I never had Legos. Only Tinkertoys...

As Gabe on Penny Arcade said, "How the did that make it past the legal department. I've spent the first three years of my child's life teaching him NOT to put blocks in his mouth, and now you are teaching him that they taste like strawberry!"

Kelloggs also has some fruit snacks that are Lego shaped. Check out the ingredients. I wouldn't eat these things if you paid me.

No more stupid than children's medicine made into cartoon characters to look and taste like candy.

Lego candy is not new. I don't understand why they are still around. They are the worst tasting candy ever!

Well said!

I've had them, they aren't half bad, then again, I got paid by my older brother to eat dirt & other stuff like that more times than I can count when I was little....Lego candy is no worse than dirt!

They certainly are disgusting. Yes, speaking from experience- I was a kid once!

I know why they're still around, though- kids like an excuse to play with food, what better way to do it? That's why my brother and I used to get them. We didn't care they tasted bad, they are pretty much pure sugar! Hah.

I just want to add (and I know it's easy for me to say since I don't have kids yet...), but if I had kids too young to know not to eat blocks, I would NOT let them play with Legos!! Maybe Duplos (big, can't even fit in your mouth Legos for the youngin's, I had those, too!), but not Legos. Once they're old enough to play with Legos, they should know better than to eat them!
