Scratch has been having issues since she had pyometra in June 2006. Whenever I go out in the yard for 5+ minutes, she'll run to every window that's open and cry pathetically at me. When I come inside, she'll be sitting by the door, and then she runs away. What is her deal? Separation anxiety?

That's funny, because sometime Scratch pretends to ignore me!

I agree.

My Cody is similar, when I leave he belts out "MA!" "MA!" "MEROW" "MAAA!" Till I come back... The he's all over me like we've been apart for 10 years.

my cats act funny when we go to bed.

They will be asleep downstairs and we go to bed, turn everything off and a few minutes later they will be crying for us. Wondering where we are. We have to leave our bedroom door open so they can find us, make sure we're okay, and then go about their merry way. Usually to sleep on the futon in the computer room. which is exactly what I want them to do. They had gotten in the habit of sleeping on our bed.
