Howdy!

Just stopping in to say hi and read a bit before jumping in. We're in the process of adopting two rescued Maine Coon kittens. I found myself here via Google after realizing that I didn't remember a whole lot from my childhood about raising happy, healthy cats. So...I'm off to read, read, read, and hopefully find something of quality to say.

we're in the planning stages of a DFW metroplex meet-up [date still TBA]. we'd love it if you could come - not sure which part of TX you're from... it's a pretty big state!

Just as an FYI, we drove to get the kittkin's yesterday, drove home last night (8 hours of driving - eep!), and they're settling in wonderfully. They're sooo tiny! It's been so long since I've seen kittens! I'm all mushy.
