Hi everyone,
It's been a long while since I visited the forum, so I thought I'd briefly introduce my tribe. I have four babes:
Crowley and Jango are my two Siamese, about 5 1/2 years old. They're old style seal points, so they are not tiny cats. Crowley is the "sweet demon pie" of the group -- we just knew when we saw him at 6 weeks old that he was bad to the bone, so masochists that we are, we had to have him. It probably didn't help that I named him after a literary demon either. He's lived up to his name, causing more property destruction than any other cat I've ever had, or more likely all of them together! He is also incredibly maternal and will adopt anything else I bring home.
Jango is in my humble opinion the world's cutest life form. He's a bit of a girly-man, definitely a diva, and very high-maintenance. But he ranks as about the most loving feline I have ever run across. For some reason, he bonded to my fingers as a baby, and now makes daily rituals of chewing on them. His only health issue is that he keeps getting one blocked anal gland.
Gypsy is a tortie, found under a building starving to death at about six weeks old. While she's never gotten over her perpetual fear that "this could be my last meal" at three and a half, she's now queen of the house. Crowley immediately adopted her the moment we brought her home, and has been her self appointed Momma ever since.
And last but not least, my giant "kitten" Petey. He's a purebred Maine Coon, will turn 2 in a few weeks, and is all but 19 pounds, none of that fat. He's a brown tabby with white, gorgeous but adorable at the same time, absolutely sweet and (thank God) mellow. Crowley also adopted him the moment we brought him home, but is now a bit overwhelmed with his giant baby. He's far and away the biggest cat in the house but considers himself to be "the baby" and acts accordingly.
So that's my gang.
