Hi there again,

My giant Maine Coon baby had to have surgery after he broke his hip. (See the Legge-Perth syndrome thread.... ) He's been sent home in one of the E-collars, which is of course driving him crazy. But our vet is adamant that he wear it until the stitches come out in another 10 looonngg days. I've been off work playing kitty nurse/ babysitter for the past couple of days, but I have to go back to work on Monday and no one is going to be around to keep an eye on him for 9-10 hours at a time. I'm just concerned he isn't able to drink wearing that thing. I've seen him eat, but he seems vexed about how to drink. He's managed to tip over several different water bowls. I was thinking about a run to our local pet supply place and getting a weighted water bowl. I was looking for a raised bowl, but the only ones I can find come in twos, and I know for sure that won't work. Suggestions appreciated! Many thanks!
