Peace & Light be with you.
He was a very proud one, wasn't he!

Oh I'm so sorry! I'm actually on a two week business trip right now and I only have been on to respond to your loss.

Oh Pat... I'm so sorry about Tippy. And it is so hard to lose one of these little ones. I know Tippy is ever grateful for the wonderful, loving home you gave him. He's a special little angel and I hope Jake was there to meet him. Actually, I've been thinking about Jakey A LOT the last week so maybe that's why. Maybe he was trying to tell me he just met a new friend.

Oh that made me cry...sweet Jake I hope somehow, they did meet...that a rainbow bridge includes not just cats I've loved and who passed before Tippy came into my life, but those I've cared about even if I only "met" them online.

Those are the kind of thoughts that keep me going and give me hope, Pat. I believe we have to be able to hang on to something, or the grief can be unbearable.

have always been sensitive and wonderful when we have lost one of our cats. But this time, they outdid themselves.

They sent us a live azalea plant in a container - fully in bloom, so many pink blossums, it is lovely. I will do my best to replant it and keep it as a container plant outdoors that we take with us when we move to a new home (which we would like to do someday).

A lovely tribute to Tippy who used to come garden with me before we were able to bring him in to live with us.

Pat, that is such a special picture of beautiful Tippy. You put so much love into rescuing him. His PKD diagnosis was such a shock, and you did everything possible for him to treat his illness. I can't imagine how painful it must be for you as you've let him go.

How lovely of your Vets to send you an azalea plant, that was so considerate of them. This is quite a fitting tribute for your little boy who spent so much time with you in the garden before moving into your home.

Tippy, you are so loved and painfully missed
