Our family's precious cat, Simba, is 13 human years old and we are moving to a new house. She is an outside cat (although we let her come inside every morning and evening for a few minutes.) She has always lived in this location and we are worried about how she will handle the move. Fortunately, we are keeping this house and we have thought about letting her stay here as my husband will be here frequently (probably daily) to work on pianos. (He is a piano technician). Our son is in the military and although he is grown and is a big burly Army guy, he is very worried about her - we got her when he was a little guy. (We also have two old dogs and have the same concerns about how they will react to moving to a new place.) Thanks for any help you can give!

This fountain was purchased because it was not plastic and saw it on a site on constipation for cats and was promoted as one that cats would use. However, it is expensive. It is very heavy,...

I had to use a dropper with this since it was kind of hard to put it in my cat's ears. I cleaned my cats ears first, then I put the R-7M cleaner in her ears. Next, I inserted 10 drops into each...

It is the most economical litter I have ever used. I only put a layer of litter in the pan that will cover half the pan. As the cats use it, it turns to sawdust. When its all dust you dump it....

This is probably the single most important toy I ever bought. I got it when my boy was a kitten and two years later, he still plays with it every day.

I would suggest taking her with and building an enclosure at the new place

The new house has a closed in garage. Here, we do not have a garage. She is out in the open all day. I thought I might use the garage, but I think she would prefer being free to roam. Here, she stays in our yard all day ... she seems to love to sleep on the rocky car pad ... go figure! I'm just not sure she would be happy in the garage all day and am concerned she'll get lost in a new neighborhood if I let her roam.

Enclosures are the best of both worlds. Kittie is safe and can still be with her family. My DH built one for our cats but you can get them pre made or buy an enclosed dog run. Your girl may suprise you and adjust very well. With her age she may even like staying inside more until she is adjusted to the area or an outside enclosure.

So, the kitty is FULL outdoor and only comes inside briefly every day, or is indoor and only goes outside a few times a day?
