Roxy (Maine Coon kitten 7-8 months) was spayed on Tuesday. I was wondering if anyone knows if it is ok to let her play with my other kitten Church now or if I should continue to keep them separated? I was surprised when she came home from the vet, the incision is so tiny... She already wanted to play chase with Church on Tuesday night! I didn't let her but I'm not sure how long I need to stop the playing.

I had a hard time keeping Zoey our Bengal cat from playing after her Spay. She ran around like a tazmanian devil, she was climbing her tall scatching post and doing everything she wasn't supposed to do. Needless to say she was meeting the vet at his office on a Sunday because her little wound was red and weepy. It all worked out but we got a lecture from her Dr about keeping her quiet. Zoey got me in trouble with the Dr.

I would try to keep your cat from getting into mischief until she gets her stitches out. It's not an easy task to keep a playful cat from doing the things they love to do best!!

She doesn't have any stitches. They used surgical glue on the incision...

She should be ok with some play. I'd be more worried about her jumping around. If in doubt, call your vet.
