Sounds like ours hear as well along the central coast for Friday with temps around 105F-110F degrees. Lows in the upper 40F's-mid 60F's depending if you are along the ocean or inland. We are also under an Extreme Heat Advisory.

Saturday and Sunday still in the 100F's and lows similiar to Friday.

And its still not late July to Mid September yet.................

Ditto. At night it feels like we're in a hot dryer!

I am dreading July. We already were 108 in May. Watch us have extreme heat this year in July again.

Saturday - 86/69
Sunday - 85/70
Monday - 91/70
Tuesday - 91/69
Wednesday - 93/71
Thursday - 94/71
Friday - 93/73

The humidity is what really kills me though!

Texas summers are always unbearable. We have had several 100 degree days. My husband and I are all excited as the high tomorrow is only supposed to be 86. Haha! I work at a hotel and they want us to keep the a/c in the rooms off unless they are being occupied. NOT good for us poor housekeepers. I almost passed out in a particularly messy room today because of the heat. Ick.

It's in the 100's here in Los Angeles. I don't have Air Conditioning. So, I don't get a lot of relief from the heat. I've learned one thing though, keep the shades down, and the windows closed, and the fans on all around me, and it's not too bad. Opening the windows, just lets in the hot heat. I'll probably open the windows after dark.

As can be expected, it's very hot here in Las Vegas. Only went up to 108 today, but hot is hot. I'm already tired of hearing my AC run 24/7 and my mind picturing the dollar bills as the meter spins.

I got food poisoning in Lake Havisu when it was 126. We drove through the Majove. The Relay for Life is tomorrow and I do not know what to do because I get terrible Migraines from the heat.

We have Cooling Centers open now and tied the Record for today from 1961.
Statement as of 3:00 PM PDT on June 20, 2008

... Hot temperatures will continue through Saturday...

After unusually hot daytime readings... temperatures will be slow
to cool overnight. In the foothills... nighttime low temperatures
will stay in the 70s... bringing little relief. Elsewhere in
northern interior California... overnight lows will cool to more
comfortable levels.

On Saturday temperatures will warm quickly in the morning... bringing
a second day of hot weather. The Central Valley will experience
daytime high temperatures in the upper 90s in the northern
Sacramento Valley. Temperatures will become warmer further
south... with the northern San Joaquin Valley having near record
temperatures between 105-110 degrees. The Delta area will reach
temperatures near 100 degrees. The foothills will see temperatures in the
90s. Even in places like the northeast plateau and the higher
mountains... temperatures will be unusually warm.

Stay indoors as much as possible during the peak heating of the
day. If you have to work or plan on any recreational activities
outdoors... drink plenty of water ... wear light colored clothing
and take frequent breaks from the sun. Heat can affect
anyone... however children... the elderly... people with medical
conditions... and those engaged in strenuous outdoor activities
will be the ones most impacted by hot weather.

Record Report
Statement as of 5:15 PM PDT on June 20, 2008

... High temperature record tied today in Modesto...

The high temperature through 5 PM in Modesto reached 106 degrees
which tied the previous record for the day set in 1961.
