Roxy (Maine Coon kitten) has Follicular conjunctivitis has anyone dealt with that before?
We took her in to be spayed and have her teeth checked earlier this week. We also wanted the vet to fix this little extra piece she had that stuck out from her third eyelid. When they were doing that they noticed she had bumps on the third eyelids of both eyes which was the enlarged follicles, so she treated it and gave us eye ointment for Roxy.
Unfortunately the vet also was concerned about Roxy's teeth and said when she touched the teeth she was able to lift up the gums so her teeth/gums are not good! She trimmed Roxy's gums and cleaned her teeth, and said we have to brush her teeth every day to keep her from getting more issues. She's only 8 months and she already has these problems!
