WOOOOP we have been looking at getting a new family member for a while now
wel today i found 11 kittens for sale...
well rix picked a onghaired ginger (F) and i picked what looks like a blue/black tabby no doubt her stripes will fade....

were jammed on names and we dont colect them until there 7 weeks old

theire the owner of there parents bought 3 cats and was told there females were already spayed.... (not the case...) so the show persian next door had a feild day with both females...
athough all kitties will be spayed after

any ways im sooooo excited...

Tina - they shouldn't be separated from mom and sibs until at least 10 weeks of age... better to do at 12. seven weeks is kinda young.

Choose a kitten who is outgoing, friendly and playful. Also make sure he is healthy with no obvious signs of problems. Mum and Dad will help with this. Non-pedigree kittens can be taken away from their mothers at 6 weeks old but if they are pedigrees they must be fully vaccinated before they can leave the breeder which means they will be at least 13 weeks old.

Pedigreed or not, kittens are barely weaned at 6-7 weeks and still need socialising and learn lessons in kitty behaviour from mum.

aww! if that's the case, that person really shouldn't have cat's! or he should at least look up on how to look after the kitten's, before taking them away from the mother.

We have had some great cats who were only 5 weeks when we got them, so while it's not the best, 7 weeks is better than 5.

You do have other cats. We ended up with Lucy at 8 weeks since there were problems with the mother. She learned a lot from Much (our older cate) so the kittens may learn from your older ones also.

Still, staying with Mom would be optimal.

both me and the partner spoke about the situation well both willow and teaser were really good at helping misty learn such duties as litter and too clean properly...

I foster, and rescue myself so take in tons of kittens without parents and siblings under that age..they do alright, get raised by my other cats. (Though, most of the time I do have foster kittens their age..)

Atleast there will be 2.
