Have you been to Options before and used the Subscribed Threads entrees? If not, why not, and if so, were you completely successfull? Have clicked on List Subscriptions before? Where do you initially go when signing/coming back on TCS? Do you think you may be using List Subscriptions more in the future?

For some reason I always though the subscribed threads had something to do with threads for paying members.
So no, I have never checked it out in the User cp options. Now that I know what it's for I still probably won't use it. I can't really think of any threads I'd want to subsribe to. When I first get on TCS I usually check out what's in the Cat Lounge first. I really don't into the health or behavior forums unless something on the Main Forums page catches my eye. Or unless I have a thread started in there. I rarely visit IMO either. I mainly stick to the Lounge or What's New Pussycat.

No - I don't subscribe to threads, as I got tired on other similar forums of getting an e-mail every time someone posted to the thread. You can also subscribe to threads if scroll down below your submit reply button to the Additional Options.

I always come to the forum index when I return to the forum and just peek into the categories that interest me. Sometimes I'll just click new posts on the toolbar, but being a creature of habit, I like using the forum index instead. If I want to go back to visit a thread I've posted in, I generally just go to my own profile and click "view all posts" by myself.

I have been to options befores and I used the subscribed threads... once! I like to go to different forums and read what I want to read and I guess I like to go fishing for fun stuff to read! Ive clicked on list subscriotions before and gotten the whole "You have no subscritions" Hehe I dont think Ill probably use that too much in the future because I enjoy doing it the way I do it! When I sign in to TCS it takes me to the main cat forums pages! Where you can see how many people are on each place and who posted last in what thread and so on and so forth! I have subscribed to a couple threads back in the day, but it was a long time ago and I quickly realised I didn't like the e-mail notification and that I didn't know how to turn it off!
So that was the end of that!

I have been to the options page before, but I didn;t use the subscribe to thread option until today's Katkwiz. I never used it cause I almost always had thecatsite open on my computer so I could see right away if there was an update on a thread. When I first get on TCS I check out the home page then had to the lounge area to see what everyone is up to. I might use the subscription page but most like not since like I said before the website is almost always up.

No I havent ever used the subscrive threads option before. I usually remember to check back if Im interested in a thread, and I get so much junk mail that I dont want to get an email every time someone posts a reply.

I have the forum index bookmarked so thats where I go first, then down to the Lounge. A lot of times I open up the Health and Care and Grooming forums in a new window on my way down the page to the Lounge.

Do you think you may be using List Subscriptions more in the future?
I doubt it.

I have been to options before, but I have not used subscribed threads. I was aware that they existed and assumed they meant what they I thought they meant, but I never really looked into it further. Come to think of it, I think the only reason that I have been to options is for KatKwiz. I'm ok with just the basic forum options - no customizing for me.

If not, why not, and if so, were you completely successfull?

I don't subscribe to threads because I'm not that "attached" to any one thread. I could see subscribing and getting email notices if I didn't come to TCS daily, but since I'm here multi-times daily, checking all the different boards, I can keep track myself.

I have my browser bookmarked/favourited to bring me right to the main page that lists all the forums.

Not likely. Maybe if I stopped coming to TCS on a daily basis and just came once in a while to post a question when I had one. But, I'm never really too busy to procrastinate, so chance are it won't happen!

I've never used subscribed threads before. I can usually remember which threads I want to keep up on and aside from KatKwiz and KatKwery I don't post too much.

I usually just check for the new Kwiz and Kwery and I check out the cats and other animals section, but I usually don't take the time to check out much else. I use the search feature quite a bit when I have a specific issue that I need an answer to, but otherwise I don't have the cat knowledge that many others on here have so I don't contribute very often.

my bookmark for TCS is the list subscriptions one. i don't get emails, so this is the 1st place i look - catch up on current subscriptions, check PMs, post replies, etc. then i go to the new posts heading. if i manage to read everything i have interest in there [sometimes happens late at night] & post in relevant threads, then i look in the different forums - or i play games in the arcade!

Wow,I cant believe I did it again - two in a row - I'm on a roll. When I TRY, I never win, and when I think I dont have a shot - I guess I should stick with what works
Thanks again for the points!

I do subscribe to threads. Then when I come on, I usually go straight to "User CP" then I know if there has been a reply after the last one I left. For the most part it's perfect! That way I never forget who or where I've left a message, but sometimes when I've been busy on the boards I'll get pages full of subscriptions - just because I left 'atta-boy' comments all over - because I have my account set-up to automatically subscribe to anything I reply to. But all I do then is unsubscribe to certain threads if it gets to be too much. Anyway, that's what seems to work best for me. I check my User CP first, then I go into the individual lounges.
Jeesh - if any of that even makes any sense.
