Gabriel (the cat in question) has a tendency to get that 'nubby' fur. I usually can cut the gobs of fur off myself, but at one point, his fur got so knotted and close to his skin that I was afraid to do it myself b/c I didn't want to cut him. So when I took him into the vet to get neutered, I asked them to please give him a 'haircut'. I knew he would probably look pretty pathetic afterwards, but I wasn't expecting THAT!
I actually thought he was kinda cute myself. He reminded me of a small, proud lion!
