Gore as Obama's running mate?

I don't think so. He want us peons to lessen our so-called "carbon footprint"
while he ups his household energy consumption 10%.

Quote:

In the year since Al Gore took steps to make his home more energy-efficient, the former Vice President’s home energy use surged more than 10%, according to the Tennessee Center for Policy Research.

In the past year, Gore’s home burned through 213,210 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, enough to power 232 average American households for a month.

Nice role model.

Regardless of where you or he stands on Global Warming, Carbon Footprint, etc. Gore would frankly be a fool to accept the VP bid IMO. He's got more power now than he ever did in politics. He's got more influence now. He's won the Nobel Peace Prize (along with the UN committee) for goodness sake! WHY would he want to be someone's #2?

Isn't there another thread on this already? I remember posting in one.

There was another thread that went off topic to this.

OK, then I get to repeat my two cents FWIW: I don't think he'll be asked, and even if he's asked he should decline, and that's what I think he would do, for the reasons cited above, with which I agree. <deep breath> that's all.

I don't think he will accept the VP nod. He has more going for him outside of politics.

Wouldn't that be a clusterfoxtrot?
