I hope I didn't break any serious protocol by posting my problem (kitten poop) before my introduction. I'm Kim. I have 1 husband, 1 daughter and 2.5 felines.
I got Oreo (you can guess what she looks like, I'm sure) shortly after my husband and I started dating about 15 years ago. She's a loyal old lady who snuggles under the covers with me every night. She's the only cat I've ever had who I actually picked.
Kansas also lives with us. He was born in (can you guess?) Kansas and was adopted by my parents during one of their visits to us while we still lived there. When my mom could no longer deal with the allergies we took in Kansas and he's really spiced up our home. He's about 5 years old and can still bring out Oreo's inner kitten.
A little more than a week ago we found a lonely stray kitten and couldn't bear to take him to the Humane Society so we've been taking care of him. We've been calling him Ben, but I'm not sure if we're keeping him. It's so easy to get attached but I'm not sure we can really handle a third.
Through the years I've picked up strays and due to circumstances have found them new homes (usually after spaying/neutering.) I still miss them but I'm sure they are happy.
Anyway, I'm really glad I found this site. I thought I was gonna lose it over the kitten poop, but salvation is around the corner.
I look forward to future posts...
