Under(the)cover cat!

This morning I was startled to wake-up with something furry on my stomach! When I put my hand on it, well it was my Ocicat kitten who has taken to getting under the covers during the night and cuddling with me Since I woke her up, she then tried to wiggle up my shirt and sleep in it with me!

When I was researching kittens to buy, it said Ocicats like to get under the covers with you, but didn't realize she really would. It's so cute (but still unexpected at 4am) and hope she never stops

Our ocicat look-alike does that, too!

Very cute! I woke up this morning to suckling sounds, turn over and Lexi is laying on her daddy's chest and suckling his bottom lip! He was fast asleep. She tends to get the tip of his nose or his lip.

Apparently abyssinians are under the cover cats as well. My 7-month old has slept under the covers with me every night since I got her at 4 months. I LOVE it although she does put out a lot of heat. I still can't figure out how she breathes under there.

Ocicats are a domestic breed, but look wild. "Originating from interbreeding of Abyssinian, Siamese and American Shorthair, it is the only spotted domestic breed selectively bred to emulate the cats of the wild."
