I hate kitten & puppy season

Wednesday June 18th

(4) 8 week old kittens
One DLH black adult male
One DSH orange/white 8 month old male
One 10 year old German Wirehaired Pointer

All will go over the Rainbow Bridge. There isn't enough space, nor money, for the animals.

They go unloved, dumped by their owners, or never even having owners, with only the volunteers to mourn them.

More will follow soon, I'm afraid. We have far too few homes for the numbers of animals. And this has been an incredibly "good" year as far as kitten & puppy numbers go.

Play happily over the Rainbow Bridge

RIP you babies

This is so sad, RIP little ones. i wish the people who had dumped these had been made to stay to watch this happen, but at least they have volunteers to love them and be with them.

i guess the only bright light is that they are all safe from the pain and misery some humans may have brought them. conversely they will never know the joy and contentment a loving home can bring.

it sucks, either way.

RIP precious souls.

Rest In Peace Sweet Angels, I hope you finally know love now.

Those 4 kittens, someone is paying to treat them. I still think we should euthanize them, because they are contagious & it will spread, but who am I to argue if it saves their lives.

What's wrong with them?

We've got some little ferals that will probably be euthanised They've shown no socialisation skills and are getting older, and there's many many more adoptable kittens who could use that cage space. I'd like to give them a go, but my kitties need a break, and I certainly can't do anything until exams are over - and even then, there will also be more adoptable kittens who'll need fostering as well.

Ringworm. No matter what we do, it ends up spreading. Someone agreed to foster them as well in hopes of socializing them. (They're pretty much ferals, not jam meds down their throats won't help their behavior any)

Aww, how sad for the poor babies.

The love a volunteer is the true, unselfish love of an angel - one of the sweetest, most wonderful loves of all - the kind that shines bright enough to light the way to the Rainbow Bridge, the kind that alerts all our RB kitties and little people angels that another precious spirit is arriving soon
Sending prayers and vibes for encouragement for those in the discouraging work of pet rescue
