I have one of those rice cooker thingies and was wondering if I could put something else in the cooker like chicken broth instead of water? Or do I still have to use water?
I actually prefer cooking rice in broth rather than water, but then again I don't use a rice cooker so don't know if there would be a problem although I can't imagine why you couldn't. I've also used some tomato juice.Originally Posted by SkyeCat0117

Ok thanks. I think mine is the same brand. My SO isn't a fan of many veggies and I'm trying to make some chicken and rice for dinner. Wanted to think of a way to kinda kick up the rice since he made it clear he didn't want steamed veggies with it.Originally Posted by Februa
