If you could live one day of your life over, which one would it be and why?

I would choose the day of my paternal grandparent's 50th anniversary. I was just a kid, but that way I'd get to see people who have since passed away. I figured that day I'd be able to see the most people!

The day Damita died. I would've hauled her up to the Cities to a feline only specialist that day.

My wedding day for me, too. It was a wonderful day...I just wish I had relaxed, slowed down and enjoyed it more. I barely remember anything about my big day because I was so nervous and just all over the place!

Over the river and through the woods...
I agree, my wedding day would be first. It was such a blur and even with the video it's still not the same. I think I was basically brain numb that day.

The second choice would the last vacation I took with my parents. We drove up to New Hampshire to look at a lighthouse (my dad was a lighthouse freak...picture National Lampoon's Vaction....ok, there it is...ok, lets go!
) I rolled my eyes the whole time he was getting pictures of us with the light house in the background, but I treasure those pictures and I would LOVE to go back there. I think it was the Hubble Lighthouse? It was right on the boarder of NH and Maine. In fact, we took a boat trip along the coast of Maine the next day. Beautiful area!

I think I'd go back to the day I met in person my ex boyfriend, Josh. Mind you, now he is the scuzziest, scummiest person in the entire world (drugs, cheating, STDs, the whole nine yards) but back then he was someone wonderful. We went everywhere; the Monteray Aquarium, the golden gate bridge, the chinese tea gardens. It was my first kiss and my first love.

That or the prom night with him. Sigh. Too bad he turned out to be such a lying screw up!

Heh, it'd be the day DH and I got engaged. He had taken his previous GF to this swanky hotel in Sydney, then taken her to the Harbour Bridge Climb. He was surprising me with everything, so we stayed in the same swanky hotel, then when I realised he was doing with me EXACTLY the same thing as he did with his GF, I said jokingly "didn't you do the same with your ex? That's so lame". It just popped out, and I meant it as a joke - it was truly a wonderful thing, and I was so excited to do the bridge climb, but he's never let me live it down, and it's kind of a black spot on what was otherwise a perfect day!

I would have stayed in the Army instead of getting out. I would have been able retire in a year or two if I wanted to. Imagine that, being retired before being 40 years old.

On a more personal note. One day I would love to have back that I never had would have been to have seen my Uncle Jim one more time before he died of a massive heart attack around 10 years ago. We were very close and there wasn't a greater guy in the world. He'd do anything to help someone, even if it meant he had to go without something.

My first wedding.
Six years of hell I wish I could erase from my memory.

Nuh uh...might give me away!
I would chose the day my husband and I got engaged...just to make sure we had plenty of water and pain pills (for the headache that both of us ended up with) so we might have been able to stay longer, and not feel sick 4 hours from home.

He propsed at Cedar Point in OH.

2 choices for me:

either the last day I saw my Grandma in the hospital before she died, I was very afraid and wouldn't go over by her, I wish I could go back and tell her that she meant everything to me. I believe she knew that, but I want to tell her

either that or my wedding day so that I could turn around and run the other direction

In a state of misery w/o my Bella
I guess I have 2 days I would like to relive: One is the day my first DH was killed, maybe if I was at the lake that day he would not have gotten on that last boat ride of his life or maybe I would have went too and we would have died together, I will never know, but will always think of it.

Also any day I had with
Bella
before she got sick, I would love to feel that happy again

I would relive the last day I saw my dog Aladdin was alive. My parents had him put to sleep about a week after I went back to school my freshman year of College. I had no clue we were going to lose him so I didn't really say the good bye I wish I could have. I also wish I could have been their when they did it. My parents had someone come to the house and do it their, they said it was a lot better than taking him to a vet's office. They were able to hold him while he went and it meant a lot to them and I wish I could have been there instead of 189 miles away.

I would also relive much of my Senior year of high school and the summer leading into my freshman year of college...lol...lots of mistakes made that year and especially that summer. Though being 18 I'm not really surprised with what happened...but I regret most of it because it still affects the relationship I have with my dad to this day and that was 4 years ago. Who knew taking an underage girl across state lines when you and your friends are all over the age of 18 with out her parents consent or knowledge was a crime...
