Another Engagement?!?

Yet another one of my friends from high school has gotten engaged. I'm pretty much the last one in the group. Just recently my SO and I went to his cousins wedding in Vegas and all I could think besides how beautiful she was is when's it my turn
. My family keeps telling me that I'm too young and this kind of thing can wait but I get this feeling in the pit of my stomach like I'm gunna "date" Brian forever. Is it wrong to feel like this?

I know its hard to be young and in love. I got engaged at 21 and married at 22. And will hopefully be a mom at 24

Don't base your relationship on your friends relationships. When it is the right time for you it will happen for you.

It is such a special time, dating the person you intend to marry. I wish I had that time back, engagements and marriage change that dynamic. The excitement of just dating gets lost.

**Side note** I did not live with my husband before we were married (that changes things as well)

i've been with my bf for 6 years and I realize that we're not ready for marriage yet but I mean some people might be ok but you should talk about it with your S/O

Yes and no. He saw the way I was looking at his cousin and how I was tearing up. He made some joke about it. I'm not sure how to let him know my feelings about marriage since getting us to live together was like pulling teeth (his last live in g/f was a bit of a psycho.)
