These are two of my newest foster kittens. Mom was a silver classic tabby and dad was unknown.
Both appear black at first but have tabby stripes which I know are visible on a lot of black cats. Under the black is white roots. So would that be smoke? They said they were solid black at birth and have lightened to these colors as they got older.
Not the best pics, they're very scared and wouldn't cooperate much. I had to take them outside for better lighting.
