My previous three that have now gone on to the Rainbow Bridge never wore collars and were micro-chipped and one tatoo'd (before micro-chips). Not sure why I didn't collar them.

Sammy is wearing a collar, and little Lexi will be when she grows into her pink princess collar! LOL

Sammy I put a collar on so that I could just keep track of him when I first brought him home.

They could go naked, since they are strictly indoor kitties.

Riley had a collar with a tag with my phone info on it, but he was wrestling with Johnny the other day and somehow it got pulled forward and he got it stuck in his jaw for a few seconds until I grabbed him and pulled it open. Now I'm too worried that it will happen again when I'm not home, and he will get hurt so I took the collar off.

Evie did the same thing. She was always in a collar with a tag and bell, but then she started getting it stuck over her jaw when playing by herself! I asked on here, and every one said it was too lose, but I couldn't make it any tighter. I think maybe it was just not holding at the size I put it. So I took it off. I should buy her a new one that won't get stuck, but she's indoors, so my motivation is a little low.

Until then, she's a naked kitty!

Hennessy is strictly indoors, but must wear a collar at all times (just incase some dolt lets him outside.) It has a name tag and a bell... The bell's just to keep him from giving me a heart attack... I can't even hear it anymore unless I'm listening for it.

They all have a break away collar with a bell, and a tag with all their information in case they get out some how. I often find their collars on the floor after some ruff playing, I guess I know they really do work

Mine currently do not wear collars. We have a collar for each of them, with their names and both of our cell phone numbers, but we only put them on when we're going somewhere in the car, just in case. We live on the 3rd floor of an apartment complex, so the chance of them getting outside is slim to none. Namine snuck out in the hallway one time. We were getting ready to go, and I was feeding them and she wasn't in my feet. I was wondering where she was and all of a sudden I heard meowing coming from the other side of the door. She knew exactly where she lived and was waiting right outside the door. None of us (boyfriend, my parents, boyfriends aunt) knew she had gotten out in the hallway.

When we move into a house, or someplace more easily accessible for them to escape, then they'll probably start wearing the collars more.

All three of my girls go without collars in the house. Cleo has a harness that she wears outside, which has contact info on it. I had one made for Maggie, but she goes berserk when I put it on her....she's already 'not quite right', so I don't want to make her freak out even worse. I've never gotten around to getting one made for Lola (bad mommy!)

Ringo is a little "nudist" as she flatly refuses to wear a collar.

Maisie is nakey because she doesn`t go out and I did have a kitten collar for her because her neck is like a pencil but she got in a pickle with it so I threw it away.

Kitty on the other hand has many pretty collars but he goes out so he only wears his reflective collar with a bell and ID barrel.
