New kitten hasn't pooed?

Hi all. I brought my new tonkinese kitten home yesterday around 2:30 PM. The car ride was about an hour and a half. She has settled in pretty well - she is playful and doesn't hide, she has eaten about 8 oz of canned food since then (yesterday and this morning) and some dry. She hasn't messed with the water much, either. She has urinated in the litter box, but definitely hasn't pooed. I'm starting to get concerned. Thoughts? I am using pine pellet litter and she isn't a digger - she just gets in and does her business and gets out. I've never used the feline pine before but the breeder raised her on it. I can tell by the breaking down of the sawdust type stuff that she is peeing, but I haven't seen any poo. She has a vet appt this afternoon so if she still hasn't gone I'll tell him, but is this normal with the amount she has eaten??

Switch to plain clay litter and add a second pan. You can also give her just a pinch of organic catnip on the floor- it's fiber and may move things along. But some kittens just don't poop on our schedule Plus she may be pooping out of the box (behind or under furniture is always a good place for new kitties)
