OMG - so gross!

I'm talking about more than one thing, unfortunately.

First I went into the other room to see if Dutchess, my mom's siberian husky, had eaten.. and I noticed something on the floor by her, and it was one of those big ticks that get really huge when they have a lot of blood in them! It was this weird orange color, and it freaked me out, so I took it outside and smashed it.. I hate those things!

Then when I was coming back in the house, and I let the dogs out to go to the bathroom when I went outside, I noticed after we all came in, that Roxie (my pom) was sitting on the couch looking at something, and Lilly was standing on the side looking at it too.. so I went over and looked, and they brought a dead bird in the house!

I took it and put it back outside, and Roxie knew I was mad because everytime I looked at her, she'd put her ears down and walk away.

Eww!

The joys of pet ownership, eh?

It's bad enough for us when Arwen finds small creatures for our dog Jasper to bring indoors, including frogs and small grass snakes..those two have become best friends in the hunting department

ewwww I hate ticks!! I live in a tick infested State. I remember one time something was really hurting my head. I thought it was a big zit and I pulled at it and it was a TICK.... I freaked out!

I could handle the dead bird better than a tick...

That is so disgusting.. I would have a heart attack if that happened to me. I had one stuck on my shoulder one day and when I went in the bathroom to straighten my hair to get ready to go, I saw it because I had a tank top on.. so I tore him off, took him outside and burned him..

Ewwwwww I would be totally grossed out too!

I could deal with the bird, Zorro has brought enough of them home but a TICK?! ewww! I hate ticks, thankfully they don't seem to like the cats, I have never found a tick on them after being outside (whew!)
