I thought I would treat the kits to a different wet food thinking they may be tired of Merricks Granny's Pot Pie and Thanksgiving Day Dinner. I bought them 3 different cans of Wellness and a Nutro (no fish in any of them). Well my babies just turned up their noses and ate only the dry Orijen food. This morning I opened a can of Merricks and Bijou came running and jumped up on the counter. I put the food in his dish and before I could move it to his eating area on the floor, he dove in and was literally smacking his way through it with all the sounds that go with it.
So, if it's Merricks they want, it's Merricks they'll get from now on.

I don't think cats NEED to eat different foods, it's just us who think they do because we do - and your kitties just proved that!

My girls are happy eating their Felidae dry food, day in, day out, month after month

W/ the best cats
Mine enjoy eating!
I tried both slow conversion and laying the new stuff right there and then. Got same reaction to both.
