Missy Higgins, my favourite singer, is coming to your area!!! She's an Australian singer who writes all her own songs, plays her own music (with backup, but just one other person when she tours the US), and is a fabulous singer. Her music is fun, fresh and caters to a lot of tastes - she is popular within the pop scene as well as the alternative scene (where she got her break).
Anyway, she's playing in WI, MN, IA, IN, MI, OH, KY, NY, ON, QC, MA, PA and VA over the next couple of months.

We saw her play in San Francisco, and it was AMAZING. Just her singing and playing guitar or piano, with one backup guy playing guitar. It was in a small venue, and the sound was so rich, and tickets were only $15 each.
