The little girl is healing SO fast! She went in for her check up today, and weighs in at 3lb 15oz - last Tuesday when I got her she was 3lb 4oz I think, so she's doing well.

She only came to the shelter about 3 weeks ago with her fractured pelvis (although they're not sure how long it had been since she'd actually been injured), and she's doing so well, that she's booked in to get spayed next Wednesday, and put up for adoption the next day.

She'll be so happy to go into a real home!

That's great news! I somehow think she's going to miss Stumpy though.

I don't know how you and everyone else can foster cats and kittens. I get so attached that I just couldn't give them back. If I took in a foster I know I'd end up keeping her/him....or them if there were multiple. I'd be the lady in an apartment with 700 cats!

That's it though - I've reached the allowed maximum, so can't keep any more, so I'm not tempted. I'm too much of a law abiding citizen to risk getting in trouble

And I view rules as not written in stone and only guidelines!

My lease doesn't allow pets, but I have two! I've never made a point of hiding the fact that I have cats. In fact when I was in the hospital a few years ago the agency's property manager for the building called me in the hospital to give me an update on my kitties (the caretaker had been looking after them for me).

There is one kitty at the vet's office that is looking for a forever home. Actually there are 5 kitties looking, but this one particular one is a boy about 9 months old now named "Syd." He's the cutest thing. I fell in love with him immediately and I can't stop thinking about him. I would so love to bring him home, but I would be pressing my luck with 3 cats in a place that doesn't allow any. Also Chynna didn't take well to Abby, so I don't know if she would accept another cat. I know Abby would love the company because she had tried so hard to cuddle with Chynna when she was younger but Chynna wouldn't have anything to do with that.

I would love to be able to bring Syd home though.
