So I've gotten really into Hell's Kitchen. It's just so fascinating watching these chefs with such great skills compete against each other by cooking dishes or identifying ingredients and such.

My question is...if there was a reality show for your profession or avocation, what would it be? Who would be the judge? What would be the challenges? How would you do?

Hmm - interesting thread here

I think I'd be very good in a cat grooming reality show - from bathing to combing, etc. Tho I've never had to deal with an extremely matted cat before - maybe it would be harder to do.

I'd have to have cat show judges be the judge as regular celebs would have NO clue as to good/bad.

I am studying to become and interior designer so there is a reality show for me
I LOVE LOVE LOVE watching Design Star!
As for right now I work at a doggy daycare. Who knows how they could even make that into a reality show but it would be fun to compete in!

My show would be Rich Bride Poor Bride
It would showcase all the challenges and stress and wonderful things that come with planning a wedding.

Hmm...an office skills reality show?

I love cooking, so I enjoy watching Top Chef, but there's no way I could compete with professional chefs like that.

I'll occasionally watch "Who's Wedding is it Anyway" and "Say Yes To The Dress" if they're on when I'm flipping channels on the weekend but the only one I watch regularly is "Hell's Kitchen".

The reality show I would have is one for real women - the ones who actually hold jobs and take care of other things (family - be it kids or older parents). Who can listen to the boss and the kid's teacher at the same time, that sort of thing.

I've watched Groomer has it - that was interesting.

Here's a good one - I work at a recreation center, so see a lot of sports stuff going on. What about a show where the parents of the kids on a team actually have to have a good attitude?

I have to admit to being a total reality show junkie.

But... I can't, for the life of me, figure out what kind of show you could possibly come up with for me....

So You Think You Can Be a Social Worker?

I think the closest thing out there is Intervention! And there'd be no judges... come on now, you can't judge people in my profession.

They sort of have one...if they'd change A Baby's Story, and tell the story from the nurse's perspective!

Over the river and through the woods...
Mine would be "Can you deal with stupid people". The first one that loses their cool is booted off.

"Sir, may I have your social security number."

"ummm...hang on, I have it here somewhere....ummm...does it begin with a 2?"

"Sir, I don't know because I need that to open your account."

"Oh sorry, that was my ATM pin number. Hang on, let me find it......I know I have it somewhere....."

"Sir, I can look up your account with your first and last name as long as you verify your date of birth and your address."

"Don't you already have that??"

"Not until I can see your account, Sir."

I LOVE Hells Kitchen.

Hmm...math reality show...no one would watch it to be honest. "Can you complete this Derivative?"...how about "Can you solve this differential equation?"
Could you imagine what would happen if you threw 10 math geeks into a house to live together...the walls would yawn...
