Hi all, meet Samson. He is an F3 Savannah. He is 8 months old and unfortunately he has the dry form of F.I.P. I don't know how long he will be with us but we love him dearly and we are doing everything possible to save him.

They are both such beautiful cats!
I am just in love with Samson. My Ringo is a Savannah. I am absolutely crazy about Savannah spots and those big ears!

Do you know how he got it? How is doing in general healthwise? I hope he still has many more happy years with you.

Thank you for the replies. Samson came to us with the virus, I need to discus things further with the breeder. Unfortunately Samson is not doing well. He has a constant fever and he is very lethargic. He won't eat so we force feed him. I think our time is very short.

This is so very painful for my wife and I. We got Samson because our 14 year old Bengal passed from Lymphoma. He died 3 weeks after being diagnosed, very shocking. Now to go thru this is too heartbreaking. It's just hard.

I'm so sorry Samson is sick. They are both beautiful and Samson really looks happy in those pictures so whatever happens it's obvious that you have given Samson a wonderful life!

Again, I am very sorry for his diagnosis and we will be keeping our paws and fingers crossed that he stabalizes.

F.I.P. = Feline Infectious Peritonitis

FIP occurs when the cat reacts inappropriately to feline coronavirus (FCoV) infection and the virus mutates. It has a 100% mortality rate.

Samson is stunning.
his ears are amazing.


I am so sorry to learn that his life will be way to brief but in the mean time he has handsome Buster as a great partner and of course you and your family.

Your cats are beautiful! I am so sorry Samson has FIP. I have a female Bengal and my next cat is going to be a Savannah. I love their big ears.

Oh, my heart aches for you and your wife. You're making whatever time he's got left on this earth a loving time, though. I believe in miracles, so here are some vibes for your little fella.

Samson has passed on, he is in no pain. I miss him dearly.
