church not eating much

so for about a little less then a week church has only been eating 1 bowl of food a day some times a little less,is this normal

Is there a heat wave in your area? There's another thread about how the heat affects cats' appetites. How much does he usually eat? Does he have any other symptoms?

No! This is *not* normal! You need to take him to the vet A.S.A.P. He could be very sick!

No need to panic the poor girl when we don't have many specifics.

Is this a decrease in what he normally eats? Heat is also something to take into consideration. Is he playing and sleeping as usual and have these activities changed as well? What about his litter box habits... any changes there?

Mine go through phases... some weeks they eat everything I put in front of them and other weeks they leave food in their bowls and they are both perfectly healthy happy cats.

i agree. milo especially will sometimes eat a whole bowl in one sitting, then other times just have a couple of mouthfuls.

and the heat is affecting them too. unless he is behaving differently in other ways too i would just keep an eye on him.
