Morning All!!!

Hmm looks like Trout's Mom is still enjoying her weekend with that man of hers

so I will do the daily today

Cloudy and extremely humid here today, terrible thunderstorms all night but it seems to have calmed down now.

Work as usual today, hopefully nothing to pressing will come up, we are having some issue's with the computers again so have a tec coming in today..

Nothing special planned for afterwards just home and a little R&R.

Cats are good, sleeping right now, the storm had them tearing around the house most of the night..

It's really hot here today, and too hot to be at work

I'll be straight in the conservatory tonight, and so will the kids, but Miss Sophie must have her sunblock on her ears first

No relief until maybe Wednesday, so I'm doing absolutely nothing outside of work today!

Well finally got all my PR stuff done this morning so I can finally post here!!

Drying out from a weekend of rain -from Sat afternoon to when I checked the rain gauge this morning we got a bit over 1.75 inches of rain!! We are on the low end and Milwaukee got a bit over 7 inches!!

So no working today unless I want to get super muddy-way to wet to plant for several days-grrrr..........

So I might run a couple of errands as I haven't left the house since Thursday!!

Making a boxed chicken pasta dish with a salad for dinner tonite!!

At least the temps are ok-right now about 72F and the humidity is dropping.

It was cold and overcast this morning when I left for work 2 1/2 hours ago, like it is every morning. It's really deceptive, because we are just west of the "Dublin Grade" (large hills) that keep all the morning fog from the bay RIGHT OVER my little town. We call it our "natural air conditioning"

. So all mornings are cold and cloudy when I leave, so I bundle up, then the sun comes out and it burns off and gets to be 75 (if we're lucky!) and suddenly I'm overdressed.

All SEVEN cats (wow, still can't believe I have 7 cats!) are good. Little "Jack" didn't let me see his eye this morning, but last night it looked great so I have high hopes! Evie was late with her cuddles, so I was late getting up this morning. I think that's the cat-lover equivalent of "my alarm didn't go off!"

Work is crazy, it's the end of the busiest time of the month for me, so I'm not really sure why I'm on here instead of working! Only 8 hours to go until I'm home with the furries again.

Got a few things going on today.
This morning i'm going to go ahead and pack (we're leaving to go out of town tomorrow to see DH's family for a week.). After I get done packing i've got a docors app. this afternoon so we'll see how that goes.

I was supposed to go and get my nails done and go dress shopping this morning so that tonight we could get our "newlywed" pictures taken (we didn't have time for engagement ones before our wedding) but i got a call from our photographer a little while ago- he's in the hospital with some kidney problems...so i told him no worries and we'd just reschedule. So now i've got a pretty open night tonight. I may still go get my nails done just for fun.

Super-hot day yet again! My legs are killin' me. I rode 7.5 miles yesterday on the bike, which is probably the furthest ever for me! I am being reminded by that ache in my calf

Already put in over 4,000 steps today on my pedometer (more than I did all day Saturday! Wow I felt so lazy!). Just working, got a few more things to do but I need them to stretch until 3pm to get my 8 hours! We're busy, but I just work too darn fast.

Tonight we don't really have plans. We are waiting on the homebuilders to contact us about going over our contract, and DH should be getting $600 for a transmission job he did months ago (finally!!)

Very very hot here! Supposed to get rain but so far no sign of any. Not doing much today except keeping cool and we're going out for supper tonight.

Well, I know where you live because I live in the Diablo Valley. It was sunny and warm when I woke up. The air conditioner already went on, but I shut if off because the thermostat is in the east-facing living room with lots of windows for the view.

Daughter is off work today and DH is working at home. I think that I will spend a little bit longer at the club today.

To swim in the pool, of course.

I am trying two new recipe from a cookbook I am reviewing. Neither involves putting anything in the oven.

One has cherry tomatoes stuffed with tapenade and little mozzarella balls and the other is smoked salmon tartare over blinis. Probably just have a salad, too.

Its currently 29 (84F) out but feels like 39 (102F). I was just outside getting the mail and it is so hot but pretty windy too.

I'm not doing too much today. I think I am going to go with my fiance to the hospital later because his toe has been hurting him really bad for about a week and he needs to get it checked out.
