Hello,

I have discovered 4 young kittens under my shed. They have a mother cat looking after them. The mother sometimes comes out on top of the shed where it growls at me, but I give it chicken to feed it and to tame it. I have supplied some water and kitten food.

I have seen the mother bring back a dead bird and seems to sometimes take some chicken underneath the shed.

The kittens sometimes come out to play, I'm not sure how old they are, but they walk around and their eyes are open.

I want to help look after them and help get them inside so they dont stay feral and so they can get some proper care. I don't know whether it is wise for me to pick them up, I don't know anything about what I'm doing.

Any ideas would be great, thanks.

Try posting this in the strays and ferals section, as well. I am no expert on this, but it won't take long for the babies to go feral either. You can search this site for advice that's already been posted, too.
