Apparently todays special is orange kittens

I went to the pet shop over in the next town to buy cat-nip - I came out with a bit more. Some lady who worked near by found this kitten in a tree full of car grease - some of it can still be seen on the end of his nose.

The pet shop flea dipped him and tried to get as much of the grease off as they could - he was dry but still shaking. They were not sure if he is weaned - He refused to eat or drink any thing - Under the circumstances I am not surprised

Baby is so scared he is shaking -

Not interested in food - but that kitten milk seemed to hit the spot.

Long day for small babies.

I haven't told Gary he is due back in town but I have a feeling he will notice the brat-mobile now has an occupant - as kitten dumping season drags on in Texas.

Why can't the damn people get their pets fixed or at least have enough heart to take the babies to a shelter? How can some one dump such a sweet looking face?

The lady who got him out of the tree had to pull up next to it in her truck to be able to reach him - that is what I was told any way

small kitten must have been really scared or some thing to climb that high up in a pecan tree.

He is full of milk empty of urine and sleeping soundly in the brat-mobile {kitten carrier} Hope Gary doesn't get too too mad.

If I posted this in the wrong area staff feel free to move it to appropriate section. Please leave a re-direct here if at all possible so I can find this tread again .

Thanks for reading -

Hmm I think napping sounds like a good idea.

I believe I have a male baby - and there is a possibility he may be a feral. Still to soon to tell for sure but there are behavioral indicators that seem to point toward this possibility.

Gary didn't kill me too bad - he wanted to be mad but he was too excited about his new used tractor and I am the only one who is willing to engage excited male tractor talk at mid-night. . . In exchange Gary kitten sat and he made me a dirt litter box because so far this baby thinks cat boxes are hiding places. . . .shades of Ferocious. {Ferocious the furious formal feral feline is sooooo mad at me right now- I am not even worthy of offering her kitty junk food}

The pet store told me they would help me find him a home but if he is a feral he may be home - jerk heads of the world still need to fix their pets and not dump them.

Dumping is such a cruel thing to do. Especially to a very young baby. At least take it to a shelter. Geesh.

That picture is too much!
My kittens try to get all big and bad with the bigger cats and the bigger cats are like yeah whatever pipsqueak. They kind of look at them with mild amusement and fascination. Sometimes Mary will put them in their place but only half heartedly.
He looks like he has grown a bunch.

Yes he has and he has the appetite to prove it. I bet he eats his weight in food daily.

Ferocious the older kitten in the pic above keeps every one in their proper place. She weighs six pounds and keeps my 13-15 pound males walking the line , behind her of coarse. Ferocious has "cattitude"

Tom kitten will nudge all the other bigger cats out of their food bowls - so I put Tom kitten on the other side of the computer room with Ferocious

Ferocious eats in the computer room because if I let her eat with the males in the bathroom she won't let the males in to eat - Tom kitten will start to walk toward her food bowl and all Ferocious has to do is growl and give him the look Tom slinks back to his own food bowl and timidly finishes his food

Tom kitten has a lot of personality. I love little scrappy kittens they are so funny. Keep us posted on TKs progress.
