I think the summer heat is getting to my cats.

They are demanding of fresh cold water. They walk to whatever room I am in, look at me, and sprawl at my feet, belly up.

The two of them (mother and daughter, ages 4 and 2) fight all the time. It will start with mom minding her business grooming, the daughter will sidle up beside mom and want her to clean her while she's at it. Mom gets annoyed and slaps her, and then for my amusement they chase each other around the house pouncing on each other, kicking and biting. Sometimes there will even be hissing.

It's so strange, they've never been like this before. It must be the heat.

It could be a number of reasons why they are behaving like that...but I guess the heat can contribute to their silly ways, to be honest I'm entirely sure!

they do act odd in the heat. Right now my two are spralled out on the kitchen floor like some kind of kitty murder scene
