Bath Questions.

How old do kittens need to be to get baths?
I've bathed them as young as 2 months old (show kittens). Unless the kitten is really dirty or it will be a show cat in the future, you don't have to bathe them right now.

You should start a grooming routine (especially if it will be a longhair cat). I see nothing wrong with getting them used to baths at an early age The most important thing is to keep them out of drafts while they are drying.

I too start at 2 months or one week after 1st vaccinations and monthly after that for at least 6 months, show kitten or not. This will get them used to the idea of bathing so that when they DO need a bath, there's no fighting!
