I would really like to attend a couple of cat shows in my area but I don't know where to begin looking to find a schedule of events. I am in Massachusetts if that helps anyone.

Not looking for any particular breed would just like to go and watch any show. I used to show horses professionaly so I would like to see how cats are shown.
Its rare to have a one breed show (specialty), so when you go, you'll see both pedigrees and mixed (HHP's) being shown.
You would have much fun if you attend this show - Walter Hutzler, Kim Everett-Hirsch, Wayne Gradowski are wonderful judges who like to explain the various breeds in detail.
Kim was an Aby breeder who had produced some National winning cats...and she finalled mine so, I'm a bit more biased towards her!

Thank you very much Mansfield is not that far away from me. I could easily go to this. Think ill take my MIL with me she loves cats too.
One warning - leave the checkbook home - just take some cash or you will wind up buying more treehouses, toys, jewelry, etc......all cat related of course

LoL I learned that long ago. Luckily we are in the process of building a new house so I have to really think long and hard on those extra purchases now. Though now that I think of it I will have more space to hold more kitties trees hrrmmm. lol.
